Shea is chairman of the board of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE). He is a Rabbi and activist in the Jewish community. He can be reached at rabbishea@aol.com

More than a decade ago , Shea Hecht rose to national prominence as a community leader during the Crown Heights riots in New York. As a result, he received numerous awards by both government and private organizations for his work in fostering racial harmony. Shea was a member of Mayor Giuliani’s task force on police/community relations. He received the Community Relations Award from the American Jewish Committee for his leadership of the Crown Heights Coalition, seen as a model for healing a polarized community. For seven years, Shea Hecht was a Commissioner of Human Rights for the city of New York.
Since then as a chairman of the Board at the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education he has continued the tradition of social services management and outreach that began with his father, the late Rabbi Jacob J. Hecht.
Shea is Dean of Hadar Hatorah School for College Youth and a lecturer at the Ivy League Torah Study Program. He is a co-founder of the Ari Program, an innovative school for at-risk kids.
As a life strategist, Shea’s expertise centers on family crisis intervention- guiding and advising troubled youths and their families, marriage counseling, and as a drugs and cults consultant. As an activist, he serves as a liaison between the government/law enforcement, fostering racial harmony and diversity in his community

Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman Ph.D.

Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman is a highly requested, powerful and passionate speaker. The travels of her life throughout the world, give her a global and cosmopolitan approach to the topic of Teshuva.

Born in Post War Germany of concentration camp surviving parents, Miriam immigrated to America with her family in 1962. Educated in the US and Europe, she has lived in many parts of the world and taught in Israel, Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Mexico, etc. 

She is a Vocal Reconstructionist (she teaches Voice to orthodox men), author, poet and fine artist. In 2004 she moved to Crown Heights where she now lives and teaches.

In 1999, she authored the international best seller on vocal technique ‘The Voice; A Spiritual Approach To Singing, Speaking And Communicating’. The "THE REVEALED VERSION" (third edition) was released in 2005.

In 2003 her book and CD ‘Soul Reflections’ A Personal Odyssey In Poetry And Paintings, was nominated for the 2004 Pulitzer Prize In Poetry by the National Center For Jewish Cultural Arts.

He new book " Coming Home" A Chronicle of Spiritual and Personal Growth 2003-2007, was released Shavuot 2007 .
She was named one of The Best Poets Internationally In 2002/2003/ 2004/2005, by The International Library Of Poets and is a featured Poet in the 2004/2005 edition of the Who’s Who in International Poetry.

Naftali Citron, grandson  and great-nephew to the Carlebach generation , is the Rabbi &  Spiritual leader of the Carlebach Shul today,  And like the legacy he follows,  Citron continues that flow of free thinking, bringing  innovative dimensions  through the teachings of Kabbalah, Chassidus and Meditation. For over 10 years Rabbi Citron was head  Rabbi of the Highland Lakes Shul in Florida and The Jewish Learning Center in Santa Cruz , California . He has been instrumental in creating the Rosh Chodesh Institute, the Carlebach Conference, the Sefirah trail and the Day of Kabballah.
